Mencap's Myth Busters

ARTXV is delighted to announce that artist Tara is Mencap Charity's latest ambassador aka a 'Myth Buster'. The Myth Busters mark a new period for the charity with a shift away from celebrity and parent ambassadors to ambassadors with a lived experience of disability.

Tara is joined by a group of other wonderful ambassadors who come from a range of backgrounds and disciplines and who, above all, are all working together to dispel myths surrounding the disabled community.

Mencap is one of the largest UK charities for people with a learning disability and autism, empowering children and adults to get their voice heard, reach their potential and be included in their local community.
