Neurodivergence is often spoken about on the public stage by family members, carers, researchers and 'experts' - and often leaves out the viewpoint of the neurodivergent community themselves.

 

Inspired by the hashtag trend #ActuallyAutistic which moves the focus of autism expertise away from those that aren't autistic themselves, we asked the artists from ARTXV what neurodiversity really means to them.
